Kendra Luta, Programs Associate
Kendra is the Programs Associate at Rotary Charities of Traverse City. She grew up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and observed many changes and much growth in the region during that time. This sparked an early curiosity about what drives regional changes and the impact this can have on small communities. She has a background in Environmental Biology and spent her early career stewarding land and water resources through various nonprofits. Her love for all things outdoors led her and her husband to Traverse City in 2010 where they settled comfortably and put down roots for their next chapter in life. Kendra is passionate about inspiring community involvement and serves as a Planning Commissioner in her township. As Programs Associate she assists in managing internal practices, helping to evaluate systems and supporting Rotary Charities three strategies: Funding, Learning and Coaching, and Connecting. Outside of work you can find Kendra and her family exploring the area’s many gorgeous trails or experimenting with new culinary creations in her kitchen.
