Have you explored your financing options?

Support is still available for your organization, no matter your size. 65% of respondents to our Nonprofits & COVID-19 Report reported applying for state or federal aid as of May and we know of many local nonprofits that have received state or federal support. Many expressed frustration with the Payroll Protection Program (PPP) process, while those working with local banks and credit unions were most likely to feel supported. Work with a member of our Crisis Support Team to explore your options.

  • Find out what state and federal aid mixes are allowable and consider the best fit for your organization.
  • Learn how to manage your loans and maximize your chances of forgiveness.
  • Consider the Michigan Small Business Restart Program, which will make working capital available to pay expenses. Opens to nonprofits and small businesses on July 15th.
  • We have identified banks that will work with organizations of any size, including those with 1 employee. Get help to move through the PPP application process in time for the new August 8th deadline and benefit from what our team has learned as the program evolves.  Changes to the PPP may make new organisations eligible or interested in pursuing it.
  • Consider applying for Small Business Association’s Economic Injury Disaster Loans and Advances , which reopened on June 15th. You are not too late to apply.

Up to 5 free hours of consultation are available to any nonprofit Organization in Antrim, Benzie, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska and Leelanau counties.
