Build Your Theory of Change
May 7, 2026 • 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm
Operations & Financial Management • Virtual Event
Offered by the Tamarack Institute, this interactive workshop offers step-by-step guidance to help you develop a theory of change tailored to your organization, initiative, or project. Through guided reflection, concrete examples, and collaborative exercises, you will explore the key elements that underpin a theory of change: community needs and aspirations, underlying assumptions, the conditions required for change, and short-, medium-, and long-term outcomes. You will learn how to articulate a clear vision of change that is grounded both in your values and in on-the-ground realities.
The workshop will also provide foundational learning to strengthen your understanding of evaluation and strategic planning. Together, we will explore the concept of a framework, the distinction between theoretical and conceptual frameworks, and the central role that theories of change play in shaping and communicating compelling stories of impact.
Cost associated. Eligible for support through Rotary Charities Learning Fund.
