Writing and Improving Effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Offered by NMC Extended Education, learn how to create clear, concise, and effective SOPs that can be easily understood and executed by anyone, including novices. This course covers a hands-on activity demonstrating the importance of well-written instructions, classroom instruction on SOP development stages, writing standards, and best practices, and a group evaluation of real-world SOPs. Participants will gain practical skills for involving end-users, selecting appropriate delivery methods, incorporating visual aids, and establishing continuous improvement processes.
